Plot[]
Sasagawa reports about the repair efforts following the disaster which shifted the earth's axis. Gou thinks to himself how The Evil AI's identity still isn't known to the public, despite all the damage it caused.
Gou heads to the freezer and takes a SyoriSyori to eat from Taiga's stock. Mikoto teases him for pretending to watch the news when his real goal was to eat ice cream. She's upset when she sees Gou even ate the takoyaki flavor that she wanted. Gou changes the subject and asks Mikoto and Jin what they think about revealing the truth about the Evil AI to the public. But Jin thinks it's a bad idea, because it will cause panic. Gou says that he wants to tell his friends in school at least, so he can boast about how he saved the world. Gou reflects on the events of the final confrontation with Ark.
Afterwards, Jin tells Gou that the Chief Engineer has business with them. Gou, Jin and Mikoto meet with Taiga and Kurumada in the command room. Kurumada announces that the Drive Heads are going to be upgraded to Mk-III versions. He wants feedback from the drivers. To Gou's disappointment, he reveals that Backdraft will be upgraded first. This is because fire is the most likely thing that could occur at a disaster.
