Kuga Kudou (駆動 クウガ) is the co-protagonist in Tomica Kizuna Gattai Earth Granner. He first appears in Episode 1. He is voiced by Haruna Sakurai.

Personal

Appearance

Kuga is a young boy with green eyes and shoulder length blue hair. In the front of his hair is a lighter blue tuft and ahoge. He wears a blue and white shirt with blue collar, light blue pants and white shoes. He has a blue backpack. On his wrist is a device of some sort. He has a silver belt with a tan pouch worn over it.

His pilot uniform is a primarily blue body suit, with white on his legs and underarms. He has grey shoulder portions and gloves, a gold emblem on the chest, and the same wrist device. He wears a primarily blue helmet with a translucent portion over his face and gold decorations on the front.

Personality

Kuuga is cool and intelligent. He is more reserved than his brother, and tends to overthink things. However, he two has a sense of justice and desire to protect. He loves animals, especially eagles.

In the anime

Kuga is the driver of Core Granner Eagle. While helping out at Jono Zoo one day where their mother works, he and his brother were called by the Granners to partner with them, and protect the people. He transforms into Granner K. It is due to his affinity to animals that he was chosen, even over better drivers such as Mach.

Kuga was more reluctant than his brother, initially, wondering why the two were chosen over talented drivers like Go Mach, but reached an understanding with his partner Gao Granner Eagle, and vowed to protect animals and people.

• His first name is a play on "kuu", meaning "sky", His last name can be read as "drive".
• He is 12 years old.
