Mataro Madano (真殿 麻太郎, Madano Matarō), also known as Dr. Madu (ドクトル・マドゥ), is a villain in Tomica Hero: Rescue Force who only appears in the movie. He is portrayed by Ryota Yamasato.

Mataro is the developer of the Metal Train. He was angry over its rejection by Nouvelle Ginza for their Mach Train, to be used as a train for world travel. He quit his job in engineering to work at a restaurant.
Instigated by Maen, he takes on the persona of Dr. Madu and uses the Metal Train to attach itself to the Mach Train and hijack it, planning to crash it into Nouvelle Ginza's headquarters.
He later releases his grip on the Mach Train, which continues running out of control, in order to fight against Rescue Force with his Metal Train's "Snake Train" mode.
Although the Snake Train is destroyed, Madano escapes by parachute and survives. He is arrested soon after.
Etymology[]
- Mataro's surname Madano means "main hall" (真殿), whereas his given name is composed of the characters for "hemp" (麻), "big" (太) and "son" (郎).
